Başöz Enerji was founded in 1975 and started to provide services for energy industry. Ayhan Başöz, founder of Başöz Enerji, has graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electricity, and has worked as survey project engineer, project manager and factory manager before Başöz Enerji. Başöz Enerji which gave a new impulse to the industry in 1957 in Ankara – Ostim, has been providing services to its customers also in the area of hot dipped galvanization since 1983.
Başöz Enerji was restructured as a joint stock company by a capital increase after the participation of Industrial Engineer (METU) Nail Başöz in 1992. It meets the demands of the industry by prioritizing customer satisfaction thanks to its administration and engineer staff experienced mainly in production of energy transmission lines, transformer substations as well as design and production of GSM, radio-link and television transmission antennas, lattice and polygon masts and other various steel construction products.
Başöz Enerji incorporated ISO 9002 Quality Assurance Certificate in 1997 and was entitled to obtain certificate from Turkish Standards Institution. Başöz Enerji currently has TS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, TS EN ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System, TS 18001:2008 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, DIN EN ISO 3834-2 Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials – Extensive Quality Requirements certificates.
In 2006, after the completion and implementation of the new premises which was started to be constructed in 2004 within Başkent OSB, Başöz Enerji made its first international shipment and now it has projects in more than 60 countries.
In Başöz Enerji, customer satisfaction and quality is always the first priority. Conformance to the deadlines promised to the customer is also among Başöz Enerji’s essential principles. Başöz Enerji is committed to “keep its word” as a principle.
Başöz Enerji attaches importance to work quality as well as employee quality, and in addition it supports local employment by recruiting employees from near residential areas.
Başöz Enerji managed to fit hundreds of projects in more than 60 countries within its 40-year past, and continues its new projects with the passion and loyalty it maintains since its first day. Its customer portfolio which includes Ampegon, ABB, Alstom, Andritz and Siemens has been growing each passing day.
